Welcome to the Sono-breech study

The Sono-breech study is a research study taking place in 12 hospitals across England, aiming to determine the accuracy of using handheld ultrasound to check a baby’s position at 36-weeks gestation

The study started recruiting in August 2024 and will be open until November 2026

Recruitment is going well, and as of the end of July 2026 we have over 3800 recruits
